Sam was born in Starkville, Mississippi in 1998, where he lived for five years before relocating to Cleveland, Mississippi. He lived with ten family members in a 4-bedroom home until he was 13 years old. At age 15, Sam started his own landscaping business, charging neighbors $25 for the front yard and $25 for the back. Sam was always heavily involved in sports, at one point he was playing five sports at one time. After graduating high school and not receiving a scholarship to play football, Sam landed a full-ride academic scholarship to attend Mississippi State University in the fall of 2017. The first year he studied Chemical Engineering, where he quickly realized he was in the wrong field. Sam changed his major to Finance and eventually landed in Business Management. During those transitional semesters, Sam stumbled upon the entrepreneurship space on campus. He spent hours in the on-campus office learning about social platforms, communication, and how to grow your business in a digital world. This led Sam to start his e-commerce brand, small marketing agency, podcast, and vlog series.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, everything came to a sudden stop. While Sam was building his real estate marketing agency, he decided to take summer classes to graduate early.
After graduating in November of 2020, Sam moved to Nashville, Tennessee with one suitcase and a mattress stuffed into the back of his car. Sam decided to start his real estate career at the height of the real estate market just months after arriving in Nashville to build his agency. Sam believes his vlog to be the first online documentary series of someone’s career from the very beginning.
